An efficient and prosperous animal agriculture historically has been the mark of a strong, well-developed nation. Our aim to optimise animal welfare and sustainability in this sector. We think that the farmers who aim to optimise the sustainability of livestock farming can count on great support from the meat and milk industries because they produce with respect for man, animal and the environment.
Cooperation
Our ambition from the future vision on livestock farming is supported by a collaboration of farmers, the processing industry, and the environmental movements. Sustainability in livestock farming we promote through the development of innovative housing for cows, pigs and chickens. New housing facilities for chickens have day and night accommodation, outdoor runs and space and facilities to demonstrate natural behaviour. Other developments are the comfort class housing and the family housing designed for pigs.
